We Do It Right.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:\u00a0 <\/strong>To perform project coordination functions on projects requiring all types of glass, aluminum, and hardware products<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation and administration of the Project Budget.\u00a0 The Project Manager will assist, communicate, and coordinate with the sales personnel, contractors, architects, other sub-contractors, purchasing, warehouse, and field personnel to assure a timely completion of project schedule.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>JOB PLANNING<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Review original estimate with salesperson to assure that any questions or problems are solved in a prompt manner.<\/li>\n<li>Review project specification<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a schedule based on contractor information as a guide to timely completion of work.<\/li>\n<li>Shop drawings review<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>IN PROCESS JOB COORDINATION<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Update project schedule with coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Order all material to meet schedule requirements of project.<\/li>\n<li>Notify shop of fabrication.<\/li>\n<li>Notify field superintendent or scheduled field installation.<\/li>\n<li>Supply updated shop drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinator will attend job progress meetings to update all personnel with current:<\/li>\n<li>Monitor hours and material cost on job and if there are any large variances.<\/li>\n<li>Approve payment of invoices for material purchased for the job.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate field disputed or clarifications with contractor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>JOB COMPLETION<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Review punch list with field superintendent and write tickets to take corrective measures.<\/li>\n<li>If back charges are required from our vendor, contact vendor salesperson so back charge can be processed timely.<\/li>\n<li>Review with salesperson final billing to include all change orders.<\/li>\n<li>Make certain all forms which are required by contract are completed.<\/li>\n<li>Review final cost of contract and explain variances.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree with a major in Construction Management or similar degree or (2) year associates degree with previous job experience in the glass and glazing industry.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Minnesota Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<li>Basic mechanical\/construction aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and understand blueprints<\/li>\n<li>Must be detail oriented and work on several projects simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>High degree of math skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, PDF editors, Microsoft Project and other industry related software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are an ESOP company.\u00a0 We offer a competitive package including health\/dental insurance, flex benefits and paid vacation\/holidays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EOE\/M\/F\/VETS\/DISABLED<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":473,"template":"","meta":{"content-type":"","_promoted":"","_job_location":"Minneapolis, MN","_application":"https:\/\/secure4.saashr.com\/ta\/6152028.careers?ShowJob=537137312","_company_name":"Brin Contract Glazing","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.bringlass.com","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Project Manager - Brin Glass Company<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bringlass.com\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1768\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Project Manager - Brin Glass Company\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Established in 1912, Brin Glass Company has been a leader in the glazing industry for the upper Midwest for over 100 years.
