The Challenge
This project required careful coordination across three distinct construction phases, each with its own scope, sequencing, and technical demands. The north addition, east addition, and final remodel featured a wide variety of glazing systems—from exterior storefront windows and large door assemblies to interior storefronts and specialty systems like a sliding glass door and Skyline Glass wall—making consistency, scheduling, and quality control critical.
Our Solution
Heartland Glass acted as a full-service glazing partner, coordinating closely with the GC to ensure smooth execution across all phases. Our team installed seven exterior storefront windows, followed by the east addition that included eleven exterior storefront windows, two single exterior doors, two interior storefront windows, a sliding glass door system, and a Skyline Glass wall system. The project concluded with the remodel phase, featuring a 9-foot-wide exterior double door with sidelites and three interior storefront windows for a cohesive finish.
Results Accomplished
The phased approach allowed construction to progress efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project. The completed space delivers enhanced natural light, improved functionality, and a clean, modern appearance that supports long-term performance and the owner’s vision.
