Position Summary
The Service Sales Representative plays a critical role in developing new business, expanding existing client relationships, and supporting the successful delivery of commercial glass and aluminum service projects. This producer level role focuses on generating estimates, processing service orders, coordinating project details, and ensuring accurate communication between clients, vendors, and internal operations. The position requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to identify service opportunities while delivering outstanding client experience. The Service Sales Representative is an individual contributor who influences revenue growth, enhances client satisfaction, and supports the broader goals of the Brin Family of Companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets.
- Follow up on qualified leads from Marketing and Business Development.
- Build long-term relationships with commercial property managers, contractors, municipalities, educational institutions, and other service clients.
- Support the creation of proposals, quotes, and service solutions tailored to client needs.
Client Engagement & Service Accountabilities
- Maintain regular communication with clients to address inquiries, clarify service needs, and resolve concerns. Including, walk-in clients and answering phone calls.
- Provide estimates and technical guidance for glass replacement, door repairs, mirror work, custom shower doors and related service offerings.
- Enter and manage quote requests and work orders for accurate and timely service delivery.
- Communicate job details clearly to the Glazing Supervisor and glaziers prior to job start.
- Provide updates to clients throughout the service process, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Coordinate scheduling and service logistics with the scheduling coordinator and Glazing Supervisor.
- Process completed work orders to support accurate billing and invoicing in the Sage ERP system.
- Assist with vendor quote requests and material procurement for service work.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including notes, approvals, and client communication records.
- Participate in job site visits as needed to assess service needs or verify conditions.
- Maintain Service calls requiring field measuring and sales quoting. Provide takeoffs and drawings for quotes using WinGDS software and CRM tracking.
Producer Accountabilities
Producer roles impact the company’s success via sales, estimating, project management, and other revenue and profit generating efforts. Producers are important to overall execution and profitability.

- Develop plans to achieve goals set by leadership.
- Execute tasks and projects to deliver quality solutions.
- Follows company policies and processes holding peers accountable.
- Maintains communication, documentation and reporting metrics for role.
- Trains new team members for role ‑specific or team specific‑ work (as SME).
- Collaborate with team members to deliver quality work and meet timelines and financial expectations.
- Sets and communicates goals and plans for accounts, projects, etc. internally and with clients.
- Recommends growth ideas, efficiencies and new systems for improvement.
- Communicates progress, needs and updates to manager or director.
Safety Accountabilities
- Champion a culture of safety across all operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Lead by example in promoting safe work practices and hazard awareness.
- Support safety training, audits, and continuous improvement efforts while working with the Safety Manager.
- Empower employees to speak up about safety concerns and take corrective action.
- Collaborate with safety teams to monitor and improve safety performance.
- Integrate safety into planning and project execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in glass, construction, or related service fields preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent client interaction ability.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong mathematical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and shop drawings. Proficient in computer applications.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Reliable transportation and a good driving record.
- Prolonged periods working on a computer and phone. Ability to lift over 25 lbs.
Additional Information
The pay range for this position is $24–$27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
