The Challenge
This project involved connecting two existing apartment buildings with a new skyway to create a seamless, secure passage. The design required sixteen window openings and sliding entrances on both sides, all in a high-traffic area where road closures were necessary during construction. The general contractor needed a subcontractor capable of managing complex logistics, coordinating across teams, and delivering high-quality glazing without compromising schedule or safety.
Our Solution
As the glazing subcontractor, Brin supplied and installed all windows and entrances for the skyway. Leveraging over a century of expertise, our team collaborated closely with the general contractor and city officials to navigate logistical challenges and maintain a tight schedule. Our commitment to showing up, bringing it, and doing it right ensured every glazing component was flawlessly integrated into the structure.
Results Accomplished
The completed skyway now seamlessly links the two buildings with a clean, modern aesthetic and durable performance. Our glazing work delivered energy-efficient openings, smooth operating entrances, and craftsmanship that enhances the surrounding architecture.
